This Intl Women’s Day I share with you the brilliant work of Juliet Sargeant. The 1st Black woman to win a gold at Chelsea Flower Show.
I had the privilege of working with her on the Modern Slavery Garden at Chelsea, which marked the creation of new legislation to challenge & address the issue of slavery throughout the world (including the UK!). Gender inequalities, racial inequalities and exploitation still exists and requires our attention. Juliet is an inspiration. Her work shows how far we have come, and her garden demonstrates the potential to raise awareness and stimulate thought through the art of garden design.
Together we make a difference.
