As Design Consultant for BBC TV, we came together in a tremendous collaborative effort to transform a neglected 2.8-acre walled garden into a vibrant oasis for the local community of Alloa Scotland.
In true DIY SOS spirit, the local community united with the support of skilled tradespeople and generous suppliers to create something truly transformative. This inspiring project was captured in a special BBC Beechgrove Garden edition, aired to coincide with the United Nations Climate Conference in Glasgow.
The outcome was truly remarkable. The space, thoughtfully designed as a sanctuary for wildlife, also features areas to play, relax, and dine. Offering a gathering space where the community can connect, host events, and socialise, all while embracing nature and the outdoor lifestyle.
